Open or add a topic
Go to Topics, choose a saved topic or add one. Check the search, country and language match your intended audience. If there are no saved Google questions, use Fetch Google questions now.
- 02
Explore the source tabs
Browse PAA, Query Fan-Out, Discussions and YouTube. News and search-interest information provide extra context where available. Export questions downloads a spreadsheet with separate source tabs; selection for your brief happens in the next step.
- 03
Create brief and check the search results
Click Create brief. Choose your topic and intended page type, then Check search results to review the competing pages and format advice. Changing the page type updates that advice from the results already collected; it does not require another search.
- 04
Confirm what your page is about
Keep the entity saved on your topic, confirm a relevant suggested identity, or deliberately continue without one where offered. An entity identifies the subject; it is not a ranking boost. Search-results research and the preceding confirmations must be complete before question selection unlocks.
- 05
Use Beast Mode or review each source
Beast Mode selects a recommended pack across all available sources once they have finished loading. Review the summary and adjust anything that does not belong.
For more control, use guided review: PAA → Query Fan-Out → Discussions → YouTube. Use the source recommendations or handpick items, move with Next source, then review your selections. Keep at least four core PAA questions; other sources do not replace them.
- 06
Generate, review and use the brief
Continue to generate the brief. Read the editorial outline first, expand the advice and evidence when needed, and review missing or outdated details and unique additions. Edit the specification, export it as Word or Markdown, or use your saved brief through the Claude connector. The pre-publish checklist is at the bottom.
